Milton Hill house is an enchanting Georgian manor house which is surrounded by tranquil parkland in the heart of rural Oxfordshire. Now owned by Devere it has been sympathetically decorated making it a stunning wedding venue.
Claire and Neil chose to have both their wedding ceremony and reception at Milton Hill and also decided to have a small and intimate wedding ceremony and reception, which was fantastic to be a part of and document for them. They followed this by a larger evening reception where there was plenty of drinking and dancing well into the night.
Claire didn’t show any nerves to start with until her meeting with the registrar, when she proceeded to forget her date of birth and fathers name, which made her laugh thought the day. Luckily she remembered so the registrar was happy and their beautiful ceremony carried on.
They had hoped to have an outdoor ceremony but in true English summer form the weather was not on their side, although it wasn’t actually raining the sky was looking like it might burst at any moment so they stayed inside to be on the safe side. We did manage to get outside for the all important bride and groom portraits and the parkland views didn’t disappoint.
