Im always pleased when someone asks me to photograph their wedding day, but when a fellow wedding professional asked me I was not only pleased but flattered too.
Charlotte of Catering by Charlotte Anne, in Newbury got married to Neil at Kintbury Church followed by the reception at The Donnington Grove in Newbury. I knew from our first meeting that this wedding would be a great one to photograph. Neil and Charly where clearly madly in love and looking forward with excitement to their special day.
Charly is a fantastic caterer which you can see in the food she makes, she has a fantastic eye for detail so I was unsurprised by all the little details on their wedding day, her hard work getting everything ready was worth it, it was a fantastic day.
English country garden was the theme and Charly picked Sarah Styles to create her flowers. Sarah runs The Wedding Flower Gallery in Hungerford, like Charly she has a great eye for detail and really modern ideas, so she certainly helped make Charlys vision for her wedding a reality.
From the twisted willow guest book, to the apples in the cakes and around the tables it really was a fantastic wedding to photograph.
The church in Knitbury is a very traditional one and so we where able to get some really intimate images. Then the grounds of Donnington Grove provided a fantastic backdrop for some artistic wedding images of the bride and groom. Not to mention providing us with a stream to play pooh sticks in, or is this case pooh ducks!
I normally pick my favorite wedding images to show o the blog, but with this post I have gone a bit further and picked images to show Neil & Charlys whole wedding day…. enjoy!
